v4- Thermodynamic Processes
Define Thermodynamic processes...
Thermodynamic processes are defined as a change from one equilibrium macrostate to another macrostate.
(Equilibrium refers to the condition of the system when neither of its state of motion nor its internal energy state changes with the time)
Explain different thermodynamic processes and how it can be achieved?
The thermodynamic processes can be expressed with the help of various parameters such as pressure (P), temperature (T), volume (V), and internal energy (U).
In thermodynamics, types of processes include:
--> Isobaric process- The pressure (P) is kept constant (ΔP =0).
--> Isochoric process-The volume (V) is kept constant (ΔV =0).
--> Isothermal process-The temperature (T) is kept constant (ΔT =0).
--> Adiabatic process-The heat transfer is zero (Q=0).
